May I have this dance, Mrs. MacNeill?
Their first dance together as man and wife.
I have a confession to make.
So soon? Should I be worried?
Another totally swoony moment from Choices of the Heart

Once MacNeill and Christy are married and they are having their traditional first dance together, this conversation ensues:

MacNeill: I have a confession to make.

Christy: So soon? Should I be worried?

MacNeill: You know that night we spent trapped in the cabin, and you asked me what I was thinking as I looked into the fire. I was dishonest with you.

Christy: So what were you thinking?

MacNeill: I was thinking about the first time I met you and how you filled the room with the fragrance of rosewater. I fell in love with you right there and then. But never in my wildest dreams would I ever imagine that you would be mine. (Then he kisses her in such a way that we know he means it!)

He tells her what he was thinking.
She is touched by what he is saying.
A tender moment between the two.
A passionate kiss as man and wife.
